Apple iPhone 6: Two Months Later

Listen: the iPhone 6 isn’t perfect—there are a lot of areas it can improve, and many of the top Android phones best it in a lot of keys areas. But the device works well for my needs, which is why it's still in my pocket.

Disagree with a lot. I've had the phone since day 1 and I came from android. I am still a fan of android. But I must say the camera on this phone impresses me on a regular basis still. I came from a 1080p display but the one on here still impresses me on a regular basis. I think the design of the phone looks quite good, idc about the camera hump I never have and the antenna bands don't bother me. But for the most part I use a case, I think it feels better in the hand with the leather case on there but that's just my opinion just like all of this. App ecosystem is dope. Battery life never disappoints me but I personally don't mind going to bed with 20% and plugging it in.
With all of this being said I think a few more megapixels would be nice as well as another gig of ram. Next one!

Android desperately needs an iMessage equivalent. I can't consider going to Android until they do. A Touch ID equivalent would be good too, Touch ID works way way way better than Android finger print sensors at the time.

I'm still trying to understand why people hate the antenna bands, they look fine, the protruding camera is also fine. Just don't get it

Why doesn't he bring up the important fact that many iphone users love the reliability and the better quality of apps of the iphone?? Yes, high end android phones have "superior" specs. So if these reliability and app quality aren't that important to you, then by all means, get an android.

imo, the white and gold iPhones are ugly as hell.  now the black one though....when will people know black is always the best?

I left Android 2 years ago and will never go back, as it's UI fits me perfectly and the ecosystem is a just what I like (business and pleasure). My iPhone 6 and iPad are my goto's, but the Kindle Fire HDX has been perfect for my Amazon content consumption! Personal preferences really are the key in finding what works for the individual.

I've had an iPhone 4 since 2012 and just upgraded today to this iPhone 6. Gotta say regardless of the complaints I keep reading/hearing about it...I'm more than pleased with this phone and love it already lol

Most people like myself love the iPhone, we may not have the best specs, the best camera, or the better battery life (cough* 6 plus* cough*) but we have design and consistency. No need to root or do some snazzy tweak to our phones, the work out if the box no problem. Bottom line is that the iPhone is a great phone, that can't be disputed. I love my 5c the thing is great and running flawlessly; meanwhile friends with S4s and S5s, LGG3s and note3s are having problems right before my eyes.

Last week I had an iPhone 5s and was due for an upgrade. Decided to switch it up and go with a note 4 after having an iPhone for the last 4-5 years and I feel like I can do so much more on the note than I can the iphone. Definitely happy I made the switch.

my iphone 6 is actually showing some age..sort of..its very rare but there are some crashes/lags and i encountered an actual glitch..so if you're making a new playlist in the music app and try to add more than say..20 songs or so the "done" tab at the top will disappear..making it impossible to finish making the playlist. i had to close and restart the app and therefore restart making the playlist and adding only a few songs at a time.

I tried it at the store and the 6 (not 6 Plus) is too big to use with one hand. It was uncomfortable.

I think if I was buying an iPhone right now, I would go for the 5s. I have a 4s now and it's totally fine (iOS 7.1.2) so I don't see enough reason to spend my money on a new one.

Maybe they should make a mini variant of it with the same specs.

have you ever noticed other smartphone camera hump?..when iphone 6 was released people are always complaining about the protruding camera... even some android phones have protruding camera devices liks note 4 note edge note 3etc too.

The iPhone 6 is the in the middle phone, it has good resolution and sound quality and high speed with huge gigabytes while other phones are excellent in one case and suck in another which is why I love the iPhone

I went from an iPhone 6 to a droid turbo... No complaints and definitely happier with my turbo.

I've had the iPhone 6 for about 3 months and i am a heavy user with games and social media and I have about 25-35 percent at the end of the day. I think battery life could be better but it is a step up from previous iPhones.
