I love how minimalistic this trailer is. You don't need flashy guns or loud explosions in the background to sell a video game. This trailer captured so much human emotion in it; Exhaustion, grief, doubt, courage, vengeance, tenacity, terror, and lastly, hope. Good on you, Bungie and Microsoft, good on you.

I started to learn to play piano because of this trailer. Chopin's Prelude in Db Major was the first piece I learned because of Halo. 12 years later I still play piano and Halo, haha. Thank you Halo for all of the inspiration.

12 years later, and words still can’t describe how this trailer makes me feel. You honestly don’t get this kind of passion, creativity or originality like this anymore. Not just with Halo, but with any game. You can tell that this was made for the fans. This isn’t just some “michael bay” style in-game engine/gameplay footage. The detail that was put in the horror of the covenant and the fear in the marines is truly captivating and really sets the tone for the Halo universe and the Human-Covenant war. All done with real life figurines. The plasma grenade lighting up, Master Chief looking up at you when it seems like all has been lost, and right after that, just one word. Believe. Along with the beautiful music that brings it all together perfectly, I can’t help but get emotional and shed a tear or two every time I watch this. So many hours spent on this game, so many memories made and so many friendships formed. This honestly wasn’t just a game. It was one hell of an experience. An experience that no other game has ever topped for me. Other kids looked up to Marvel heroes when I was growing up. the Master Chief was and still is, my hero. 12 years later, Halo Infinite has released a new trailer...

It’s been a rocky road for Halo and video games in general. But after seeing infinite’s recent trailer, seeing the direction that 343 seems to be taking,

What I love about this trailer is how it shows you what theyve made Chief mean to you over the series so far. They just show you a battle where we're down to the wire and everything seems lost, and then Chief looking up as if to say "Trust me, I got this" and because of the relationship you've developed with this character, it's all they needed to do, and they knew it.

Great job. It's so rare marketing shows such restraint.

11 years. I'm 21, the first time I saw this trailer I was 8, my dad was telling the horrors of war he faced as a kid in El Salvador, and I would watch some combat footage and learned about WW2 as a kid. I was beginning to learn the horror, this trailer dropped and all I could think of how much I hate war(still love war video games). Watched this again the marine holding his gun, and the other group of marines under cover with blood and dirt all over their faces, it still in my head, in my mind. Something you can never shake, just profound stunning beauty and horror.
