Every thing that Bungie did for halo for advertisement is still in their hands and out of all of those set pieces, I still want to see this in person.

God I miss the glory days of Halo. 2-3 were probably their best/most fun games/experiences. Especially 3, they put so much into that game. The community was amazing.

This is, on my faith to the Emperor, one of the most emotionally touching pieces of advertising of the past 20 years. I must have spent hours looking at the John 117 monument on the official website and it damn near brought me to tears. This is brilliance, make no mistake about it.

Just coming back to this now. It was actually the intro to Black Sails that made me think of this. What a great ad campaign, it's a shame the game wasn't as good but i love everything about this. The tremendous effort that went into making it really show's how amazing we as a species can be (almost a metaphor for what the diorama represents in the halo universe :))

it was. part of probably the best ad campaign ever. It was on the official website and it let you explore the diorama at ur own pace. but for some reason they took it down afterwards
