I actually went to a taping of Happy Days on the Paramount lot in Hollywood back in the day. Henry Winkler is one of the nicest guys... After the taping as the audience were being led out the Melrose Blvd exit. Henry Winkler came towards the audience to thank us all for coming. My girlfriend at the time asked if she could give Henry a kiss on the cheek. He said, sure! She did and he then kissed her on her cheek. She definitely told her friends at school the next day she kissed the Fonz.

In the UK we got Happy Days and was such a massive hit in the UK too.
