Henry Winkler channels Fonzie at Emmys 2024 ‘Happy Days’ reunion with Ron Howard

Ayyyy! Fonzie and Richie Cunningham are back!

Nostalgia is the theme of the Emmys 2024 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, and the most celebrated night in television — hosted by “Schitt’s Creek” and real-life father-son duo Eugene and Dan Levy — had Ron Howard and Henry Winkler walk down memory lane over their 1974 sitcom “Happy Days” in honor of the show’s 50th anniversary.

Howard, 70, and Winkler, 78, took fans back in time as they reunited on a recreated set of the series’ famed Arnold’s Drive-In and chatted around the jukebox just like their characters did five decades ago.

Met Henry Winkler at a Comic Con in Lexington KY a few years back. He was very gracious with us and told our son he was “charming”. I’ll never forget how nice he was to us.

Henry Winkler is such a great guy and so friendly too! He came to my daughter’s school to promote his book several years ago (this was in the UK) and I got a photo with him! I was so chuffed! 😊 if someone had told me as a kid watching Happy Days that I’d get to meet The Fonz as a grownup I wouldn’t have believed them! But I did! 🎉

I met Henry 40 some years ago on Okinawa when he came over for a USO softball game. He saw I was getting ready to take a picture, he said "Mr Harrison are you focused and ready?" When I replied affirmative he went and gave the thumbs up. Absolute prince, must of signed a thousand autographs and stood for as many pictures, made a lot of kids lives that day!
