I just joined iRacing a week ago and so far practiced on Laguna Seca NASCAR. I love it! Bought a 2 year subscription on sale!
Still going thru videos in driving school and have been testing so far and want to know what I’m doing before I practice with others.
Thanks for a great video!!

Major thank you for posting this. I intend to join iracing in 3-4 weeks, once I complete building my low cost wood cockpit (courtesy Shaun's plans) and receiving delivery of my wheel/pedal/shifter set. Anyway, you couldn't have timed releasing this any better for me. Thanks again.

I know you two arent together anymore but you both did a great job on this and it really helps out newer members of iracing

worked up the courage for it and bought a subscription for iRacing, being a simbin racer and having raced a couple of tournaments in my country (Brazil), it'll be interesting to see what's what :)
I've been a fan of you guys for years too. Keep up the great work!

Hi Darin. I don't race like this or anything like this I didn't even know simulation style racing like this existed. I subscribed. I hope one day I'll be able to start up. I'm barely 21. This looks so cool, man. Keep up the good work. !

Thanks for our video. I am just having my first ever PC Built especially for gaming and building my own iracing rig. Duly noted to treat as a real racing career and that is why I have chosen iracing. Many Thanks

What worked for me early on was just running wide and letting the "Lap 1 Heroes" by. Statically, those guys were usually DNF'd before the halfway mark anyway. When you're just starting out, the best strategy is to let the fast guys by early on, and concentrate on running YOUR race at YOUR pace. More often than not, you'll get a decent result. When you get to C class and beyond, the REAL fun begins! :)

Hey Darin and Shaun. I have just recently learned about your show and have been finding myself watching them everyday. I love SimRacing but don't have a rig or anything. Tonight I learned that you're here in my hometown of Spokane Valley. Is that true?!! If so, WOW, I would love to meet up with you locally here someday!

Very good insight, thanks for that! I might drop forza (because of all the crashing and unsporting behavior) and start driving this instead, it seems a lot more realistic.

The Corvette is a blast and the North American road courses are great as well :)

I've lived in a condo unit for about 3 years now, and I've ran iRacing on about a 23.5 ping on US servers. Maybe because I'm only about 10 feet from my router, but it still has had no problems to this day. Now on the EU servers, I get about a 90-110 ping most of the time, and I don't even try the AUS servers :) But if you've got a VERY GOOD internet connection thats PRIVATE, you're fine
