Can we take a second to appreciate the character shapes? Elphaba is drawn with more ridged and straight lines, while Galinda is more circles and flow. This kinda reflects back in their character, and also it just makes them look different and interesting in the same frame. Very good!!

This is remarkably similar blocking and camera ideas as the live-action version now. The hand work on "but of course I'll rise above it, " the profile stare-downs on the first "loathing, " the cutting each other off while walking down a school hall, etc. Very neat!
