Показать описание
Think about this for a second a garbage man/woman can make anywhere from 30-70k per year (average is almost 60k ). While the average bachelor's degree in New York might make 68k.
But think about it, that’s 4 years of school, an average loan of 30-40k. While you already made $240k getting your hands dirty the last 4 years.

Warning:
- These jobs that im going to tell you about
- Are going to be jobs that are in demand and also see the potential for growth
- They might require an apprenticeship but you’ll still be getting paid
- And they all pay about 40k
1. Machinist/Tool and Die Maker
- This is one the most difficult job on this list
- It involves you reading blueprints and making tools from scratch almost
- And if you do Die Maker you can molds and plastic and a bunch of other things
However:
- These people make the tools we use in cars, medical people use for surgery, and all that fun stuff
Pay and how long to become one:
- When you’re an apprentice you’ll receive some pay in new York its around 16 per hour
- But after you acquire more skills your pay will increase ( this can take 3-5 years to fully complete it )
- But once you're done you can earn an average of 44k-72k per year
My opinion:
- Its not the job for me, but I included a video link below on what you can expect to be doing
2. Iron Worker
- You ever seen those people working in a bridges or buildings
- And they are soldering the steel together to make sure its bonded correctly
- Well those people are ironworkers
However one thing is this:
- You will go through 3-4 years of training to become a master
- But this job cannot employ anyone that is scared of heights like me
- But you can expect to get paid between 20-30k while you learn and 60-100k when you’re a master
My Opinion:
- Its one of those jobs that is risky and you really gotta like it
-
3. Aircraft Mechanic
- You know planes, well just like cars they need to be inspected and repaired
- So these people are charge of making sure planes are good to fly and that everything is safe
However:
- This only takes 18 months to actually get on the job
- But once your done the average 30-130k
- Obviously once you have more experience and depending on the type of craft your working ( you’ll make more money )
My Opinion:
- This one I actually like because its not on the building
- And its also fast
4. Electricians
- You guys already know what they do
- So I’ll tell you how much they make and how long it takes
Details:
- It takes around 4 years you have to become an apprentice first and then journeyman and then you become a master
- But then you can earn 70k and as a apprentice, you can expect to earn 50-40% of that
5. Elevator Installers and Repairers
- This is a job that I doubt is going to end
- Population increasing, taller building, elevators everywhere and that good stuff
Details:
- Anywhere from 58k-130k per year not bad at all huh
- But it does take 4 years of apprenticeship but again you will be paid
- 50-40% of that
