Appreciate his honesty and willingness to share things he's learning and benefitting from. Do what you good at! You are not finishing the book because you are not interested in it. You don’t like writing! You like logic organizing and note taking! That’s the problem with us human beings. Once we discover or strength at something your case productivity and creativity, our ego is taking over and takes the fun out of life by pushing us to get more! Your case write a book which you have no interest in. Use your own advise and analyze why you want to write a book and is it worth becoming a robot (stressing, pushing yourself and making your team feel it too) just like you did when deciding to leave medical school.
