Liam Lawson demoted! It was reported this morning that Liam Lawson will be replaced by Yuki Tsunoda. Many had speculated that the Liam Lawson Yuki Tsunoda swap would happen for the Japanese GP but it was not confirmed until now when the story was broken before Red Bull could issue a statement. Will we see a Liam Lawson Red Bull press release in the coming hours or will we have to wait until the 2024 Japanese GP to confirm Yuki Tsunoda’s Red Bull debut?

Yuki is either going to be become a legend or lose his career value as a driver whilst proving the car is the problem vindicating Checo, Gasly, Albon, Liam, etc

Well here’s the opinion.
This is GOOD for Liam, if he suddenly performs in VCARB, it’s the car undoubtedly. If Yuki starts to fall back, it hammers the point in, and at that point, Red Bull HAS to accept defeat and focus on the second driver to develop the car and let max wring it around to first.

I believe we should stop thinking of Red Bull as a top seat. Max is simply a generational talent that no one else can match in a vehicle designed specifically for his distinct driving style.

At the current accelerating rate of Red Bull seat 2 attrition, Yuki will be replaced by the end of FP2 in Japan.

Redbull does not need new drivers, they need new management

As somebody commented earlier, this could be a career ender for Yuki. Nobody else has pleased Red Bull in the second Car and Yuki will suffer.

Looking forward to hearing Yuki complaining on the Redbull radio.

1: Yuki does well and the panic is over but RB are met with a tone of negative PR as they will be accused of throwing away two races of points
2: Yuki underperforms and RB admit the car is bad and RB are gonna skate along mid teams with essentially 1 driver and deal with negative PR about ending essentially 2/3 drivers careers

I really hope this works for Yuki. This is what should have happened from the start of the season. I also really hope there is pressure off Liam's back now. He doesn't deserve the amount of hate he is receiving online. It's absolutely disgusting and makes me feel sad. I'm hoping he can rebuild himself from a bad start of the season.

We really need to stop thinking of Red Bull as a top seat I think. Max is just a generational talent that nobody else can really match in a car that is suited to his quite unique driving preferences.

It does kinda feel as though articles confirming news before an official announcement are like dining out on the carcass of drivers. Such a messy situation.
