This lesson starts with writing the parabolic equation, the eigenvalue problem, and the modal decomposition of “d,” which have been completed in previous lessons. The idea of modal decomposition is extended to the time-exact ODEs and is substituted in these equations. This course was developed by University of Michigan professors Krishna Garikipati and Dr. Gregory Teichert, in partnership with Ansys.
