I live blocks away from Bell plant where they make and test these. I get a show everynow and then right over my house. They are pretty awesome.Years ago the Ospys would fly over my house. These seem quieter and more manuverable.

Looks like the V-22 and the UH-60 had a baby.

Would be great for the royal navy and their new carrier. Sick a radar on top and would be great early waring platform. Speed, duration & payload and wouldn't need a catapult.

Cool to see they use the door handles from a 2005 Chevy Silverado

It's basically a redesigned and faster black hawk. At least now medevac can bring critically wounded much faster to a hospital

Perhaps the Coast Guard would be interested.

Eventually, they will need to design a repel system for each soldier as they sit side by side in the aircraft. Akin to systems seen in science fiction films, like Edge of Tomorrow. I say this, because eventually the infantry exoskeletons will become available and more common over the next 10-15 years. Repelling with a heavy and bulky exoskeleton design would be very difficult.

Took them way to long to figure out to just turn the rotors instead of the whole engine....

Awesome aircraft for sho. And taxing with all that weight 50ft out on both sides might get a little dicey at first

Where is the evidence for single engine flight? I am very skeptical!

I wonder when theyre going to start swapping the rotor for jet engines on these things.
