Looters Warned Not to Break Into Fire Evacuees' Houses

Armed homeowners whose properties survived the devastating LA fires are posting signs warning looters that they'll protect their homes at any cost. Maggie, who does want to give her last name, says she and her husband are armed. Maggie says they stayed behind during the catastrophic fires in Altadena to save their home while their neighbors' homes across the street burned. Soon after, Maggie says she spotted looters.

I used to live in Los Angeles California almost my entire life, looters are protected. And the home owners will be arrested for protecting their homes and lives.

I would face jail time, so I agree with the homeowners. Here in Missouri, we have castle doctrine that means if you legally own a firearm, you can use it to protect your property and your family if you're under threat. Don't kid yourself, those looters would kill you and not think twice about it. If the police aren't being allowed to do their job, then the homeowners should do what they feel they have to do.
