Thanks for sharing this OS! I really like the idea of this OS on older systems. I did some digging on their website and It also has a live-USB option so you can run it from USB. That is really huge if you want a portable system. I am glad you found this little gem!

I am going through the manuals and stuff trying to find how to get the FILE MANAGER to recognize my hard drive with my data on it. I use SSD for system and a big 2 T hard drive for data that's separate (my SDB on this computer).. and I can't get ROX to recognize it.. not even sure where to look.. It's the only problem I have tht keeps me from using this.

I tried out this OS, the only thing that I could not resolve was that Antix did not recognise my HP printer, It appears that you have to go through too many hoops to install it., compared to MX linux, which is a stable mate, is recognised right out of the box

I loaded this using mkusb onto an old cheap 2.0 flash drive and accidentally got the file .iso size wrong, so gave it 75% persistence. i did this on a UEFI PC and it wouldn't run...''no file found'' error message and not even MemTest would run (that said needed Legacy and even legacy ***mode*** on that PC wouldn't make it work).
I put it into my Legacy PC and got the same error message (must be because of my giving persistence too much space), but antiX's memtest ***does*** work fine on the Legacy PC.
So, when I format, reload the iso, and give persistence far less (between 25 and 50%?), should I also change some kind of Legacy/UEFI setting?
Both my PCs run Debian, so unless I install/use a VM, i can't try Rufus like the antiX site suggests as an alternative.
Making second flash drive (on 32GB), but get same message as before: this isn't Debian or Ubuntu so persistence might not work. I chose UEFI pack (grub) this time, though.

THAT-- considering it's DEBIAN and SYSTEMD free (and yes i found out what that is)... makes this look GREAT... I may try it -- as a backup for my LMDE 5.

ANTIX is great on old computers, does anyone run it on a brand new computer?
