Do you level before installing tile or just spot check ?

Either way you still need to spot check the entire install I would prefer to just use mortar to level it as the leveling system always has the possibility to crack because it’s a thin surface but y’all rock on looks great

No idea about any of this - Why is the floor sectioned off at first and then the wood removed after?

All that work then the tile guy still installs them unlevel with the grout
