Many of these endoscopes/borascopes will actually work with other camera apps sometimes even with the default camera app. But if not, there are other camera apps that can be downloaded from the app stores that give you more control over your integrated camera but also work well with external (plug in) cameras.

This is one of the must have items when buying milsurp rifles.
It has made many sellers angry that I always remove the action from the stock and run that thing down the barrel before buying any military surplus firearm. There is always rust in the places you'd never expect yourself to find it.

The big question is is it "water" proof

Would love to have experienced the kit myself but my parcel was wrongly delivered(have provided proof of this) unfortunately I have exausted efforts at my end and the only way to recover any product or money needs to come in the form of a claim from Valuegear/endosnake end but unfortunately after many emails they are either uninterested or do not reply.
I purchased from Valuegear because they seemed reputable but alas how wrong I was, knowing what I now know I would have purchased from one of the many other available options, perhaps form Aliexpress or Wish where the money does not actually get forwarded until you recieve the product.
Good luck with your own choices but please keep this in mind if you think theres going to be any sort of after sales service once they have your coin(for me $144.88USD).
