I was in the navy when halo 1 dropped, and we would connect the TVs on the first and 3rd floor of our barracks to play dual screen death matches, and the marines on base would come over to play against us. We were all avionics guys in the barracks so we didn't have the team cohesion theses jarheads had but we would still mock them incessantly that the iconic "space marine" was a Master Chief - a Naval rank.

Fun fact, the plasma grenade sticks because it’s melting. So throw that thing fast. Also the Covie Carbine shoots radioactive rounds so if being shot doesn’t get em, having a wasp sized elephant foot in their tummy will.

The plasma grenade essentially heats up to the temperature of the sun and cauterizes itself to the victim, that's why it sticks

Needler is perhaps one of the most unique weapon designs I've seen for an alien race. No one and I mean NO ONE wants to be on the receiving end of one of these nor near the person on the receiving end, especially if the grenades said poor sap drops on death explode with them in a chain reaction. Oh, and to anyone with the energy sword: shotgun :)

Underrated pick from Halo Reach: The needle rifle.

Accuracy of a DMR with the supercombine of a Needler, and you only need to shoot 3 rounds into an unshielded target to go boom. Pair that with a plasma pistol and you'd better run. I don't need a headshot to kill you anymore~

CE and Reaches plasma pistol are incredible. CE’s fires faster than the plasma rifle, and has no battery drain. Easily the best shield stripper in the game on Legendary. And Reaches uncharged shot does buffed damages on shields, again making it the best shield stripper on Legendary.

The plasma pistol is for eliminating shields and temporarily disabling a vehicle. The normal shots are better for medium range while the regular shots are for long range. Excellent for suppressing power positions. Basically once you hear their shield pop, pull out a precision weapon that can headshot them and headshot them.
