We need more cars like this. Affordable (for today’s market), dependable, actual knobs so you’re not so reliant on a touch screen! and great on gas

Bought one of these two months ago. Just did a road trip from San Francisco to Las Vegas and back over the 9, 945 foot Tioga pass and across Death Valley at -282 feet. Great car, averaged just under 50 mpg and got to watch them implode the Tropicana towers from a block away.

I just bought my first 25' Honda Civic hybrid sport touring last week, and I love it

This car is one of many reasons I believe hybrids should be the way to go for the future instead of full EVs. 30 grand, reliable, and 50 MPG. What more could you want (other than AWD in snowy regions)

I test drove both the Civic and Accord Sport Touring yesterday and will be picking up the Civic tomorrow. For anyone torn between the two: the driving experience is nearly identical—both offer excellent control, quiet cabins, and smooth suspension. The Accord feels slightly heavier, while the Civic gives a bit more road feedback, which I personally prefer.

Tech-wise, the Accord edges out with extras like a larger infotainment screen, ventilated and memory seats, a heated steering wheel, a heads-up display, and larger wheels.

So why the Civic? It still has a high-quality infotainment system with both tactile buttons and touchscreen, and since I’m the only driver, memory seats aren’t essential. Ventilated seats take time to cool, and the heads-up display, while nice, isn’t a dealbreaker. The Civic’s alloy wheels are solid—I just upgraded to black coal alloys for a sleeker look.

In a nutshell: Unless you want a bigger car with a few more tech features with an extra cost of 10k avg, then go Accord. If not go Civic (sport touring trim).

I just got this car back in August and have been getting 51.2 mpg in eco mode. My commute is about 50/50 city and highway so when I'm keeping it to just city I have gotten as high as 52 mpg.

In my mind the eco mode has more than enough power for daily driving but its nice to be able to switch to sport when you want and get some real power!

I've had my FL4 for 2 years (bought on the 12th Oct 2022) in Europe. I've done 50200mi since then, driven it from one end of Europe to the other and loved it. They provide the Michelin PS4s here. I've averaged 54.7mpg US since I've had the car. Great all rounder.

After years of watching Topher POV videos, I feel like I'm an official Michigan resident. Better change my Driver's license.

If you hold down on the left paddle, it will lock you into the regen mode in any drive mode.

9:43 If it's anything like the accord, since there's no "B" regen braking gear like in the CR-V Hybrid, you should be able to hold the increase regen paddle or the left paddle and a little M will appear next to the drive indicator and it should hold the regen braking at whatever level you set it to. Just little things you happen to learn working at the dealer😁

My current civic gen 8 diesel is 15 years old and I had zero (0) issues. With such great driving dynamics on top of that I will definitely consider to buy the new Civic as well.

And I have, been watching ( both The Widing Road) & "The Topher" for years.

This is the exact Civic I intend to get, so I'm very appreciative of this video. I know a lot of people seem to like the hatch more, but I really like the look of the sedan more.
