Only if it's made from durable, sustainable, quality materials. Some bamboo for the base, stainless for the blades and even Pyrex for the cup if it HAS to be see through, perhaps? Sure it may cost a bit more to make and purchase but you're saving your own dollars and our exqiisite planet in the long run bc you won't have to replace it when it breaks after a few good uses and all of the materials are sustainable &/or recyclable. Win - win. Aren't y'all over our disposable consumer world yet? Or are you too immersed in having things & Keeping Up With The Jonses to give a shite? Bad economy or not, do better people. It's not effing difficult and comprehensively costs less too
