The only threat to Europe is Russia and if Russia is stopped in Ukraine there is no threat to Europe so the idea that Europe needs its own defenses built up rather then giving arms to Ukraine is ignorant No one is going to be attacking Europe but Russia stop them in Ukraine.

Russia has around 1 week left before the temperture rises to above 0, which would then make all the fields muddy and unsuitable for armour. So ukraine are holding well and will be ready for there offensive late spring after the rains.

The whole air thing is misleading. You do not count the number of russian airplanes parked on some runway.. you count the pilots capable of flying them in a combat situation. Even as early as last June, Russia was 'recruiting' anyone with any flying experience. There was a POW interview with a pilot who said he had a few years of military flight experience 20 years ago, and was paid a huge amount to fly again. He was shot down on his third day in the aircraft, and on his first combat mission. The amount of money a pilot can make in the world as a commercial pilot dwarfs what Russia pays their active military pilots.

Most peoples don't understand when the president of Ukraine said tax payers money is an investment not a charity. This means if Ukraine wins this war, the benefits out it would be greater than one can imagine, 1. Strength to EU and NATO will be bolster, 2. European economy zones will be expanded, 3. Share of knowledge and information will be available at any time , 4. Freedom and democracy and rules of law will be strengthen across Europe and beyond, 5. Russia will be more weaker ever before.

The thing that most people don't understand is that Ukraine hasn't really even started fighting. They've got 55000 men being trained in Germany, and a whole lot of western kit coming. Russia now controls less territory than it did a year ago lol....and they're falling right into the Bakhmut trap. 🤣

The British Politicians should learn a very valuable lesson from General Sheriff and President Biden and all should learn the lesson that defence of our homeland and region is paramount. Years of peace always reduces defence spending but no person can predict the future which can dramatically change in hours.
