This drink is SO CONFUSING

Who's down to try this Avocado Coffee Latte? I've had sweet avocado on its own (Filipino dessert with avocado and condensed milk), but not paired with coffee like this.

When I looked it up, Avocado Coffee seems like an Indonesian drink where sweet avocado is mixed in with the coffee.

I LOVED eating it separately with the black sugar syrup. I typically have a little sweet snack with my coffee, but they're usually cookies or pastries.

The only catch is that avocado is SUPER filling, so make sure you're not too full if you're trying this coffee pairing!

Here in Indonesia, we don't eat Avocados as something savoury, we make avocados as a sweet dessert. I love eating sweet avocado with chocolate condensed milk, or just straight up avacado with sugar.

With my Mexican heritage, I’m not used to seeing avocados as a sweet associated food. I always have it savory so this would be really interesting to try :)

I’ll try anything once. I’ve had sweet avocado stuff and it’s good, but I think the texture of this would make me think too much of savory guacamole and ruin it for me.

this is so weird to me, ive never been able to fathom avocados as something other than savory to eat with lime and salt (beside avocado ice cream, that slaps), so hearing other cultures beside Mexico's enjoy it as a dessert baffles me in a good way

Also it's funny that so many people are like "I've never had sweet only savory avocados" or "we only have sweet avocado where I live", when I just eat that thing plain straight out the shell half the time with no sweet or savory or anything added 😂

An avocado smoothie with chocolate is God's gift to this earth. Its creamy and chocolatey. I'd be down to have coffee with it too bc the avocado just makes everything creamy

Blend Avocado w jackfruit as a smoothie w coconut water or almond milk. No sugar needed because the jackfruit is already sweet. The combo is so good imo

I went there before! I don't like avocados that much but when I got there, I also ordered the same thing! I asked why it was there too and they told me the intructions and you were right! I put the sugar syrup and it tasted so good with the avocados. I didnt expect myself to love avocados that much since I hated avocados. So smart to figure it out yourself!

I would try this in a heartbeat, I've never had the Filipino dish you described, but I've had avocado frozen yogurt cause a local shop in my area used to have it for Cinco de Mayo every year. The flavor is really subtle but good, and I love brown sugar Boba tea, so I imagine that dessert would taste similar to combining the two.

Argentinian here, when I was young we used to put smashed avocado on top of bread and sprinkled it with sugar.

It never occurred to me to put sugar in avocado but it’s a nutty flavor so it might be good, I’ll have to try it next time I buy avocado

im in Canada so I've never had avocado much, its not super popular where i live and i doubt the long shipping helps its quality. that said, because I'm so unfamiliar with avocado, I'm quite intrigued by this! I've had it in sushi a few times and i don't mind it but the fruit has never really grabbed me, so id definitely be down to try! i was also a picky eater as a kid, but grew into an adventurous one, because you never know when you'll find your new favourite food!
