This game would be so good if the future remaster combines the levels from Rebel Strike and divides them with a Luke and Wedge campaign

Happy May The Fourth.

This was the game that got me into the GameCube on release. The visuals at least made me really feel like I was in the films. The game has inherently good design and has good ideas such as the GameCube clock affecting the training mission and stealth mission. However, yes, this game is weirdly difficult. I've still, to this day, not completed the last objective of Mission 9 because of the TIE fighters, and that's regardless of getting nearly all bronze medals and one or two silver medals mostly by luck. I do wonder [having not played them] if the predecessor Roque Squadron or at least playing all of Rogue Leader in co-op on its sequel Rebel Strike are better, but still Rogue Leader is a great adaptation of the films anyway.

I have this game since 2016 and never been able to beat the final level, escaping Death Star is almost impossible xD
