I would think Canada is a gimme so it would be wiser to take Mexico and the Caribbean islands first then central America including the canal before the global armies could unite, then fortify Panama and the opening of the Gulf of Mexico at the Caribbeans. Then move into Canada and just start fortifying our new borders. Alaska already has Russia handled, we would just need to close the gap along the Pacific between Alaska and Washington. The Southern tip of Baja Mexico would make a great stronghold.
