Hey ✌️, I'm in the UK. Our new socialist government has ensured food prices will go up in April. My estimate is 20%. BTW I have now reached 3 years sober. x

There are few nurses that still have the care that you do for others. My wife, God Bless her soul, was filled with the same caring feelings for others. Please continue your quest and know you are appreciated!

I agree. In fact, I have ALWAYS stressed nutrition when choosing what foodstuffs to store. I'm now 70yrs old, and have raised 7 children. It was important to cook from scratch and make large pots of soup with an emphasis on onions, garlic, fresh carrots, celery and onions... then add from there depending on various meats, legumes, beans, rice and dehydrated items. Also, Pinto beans 🫘 with green chili or cayenne pepper seasonings. Add some freshly made cornbread or whole wheat, freshly ground flour things like waffles, pancakes, breads, rolls etc. You'll have to start cooking from scratch and stress nutrition instead of trendy foods. We used kombucha and other vinegars. Supplements need to be high quality, fermented nutrients. Its a process. It's a whole different way to look at family foods and eating in general. Noodles won't give kids or adults vibrant health.

I've thrown out a ton of canned food that sat in my pantry, untouched, for years. Rotate, rotate, rotate.

We’ve been fermenting stuff for well over 10 years …cabbage, pickles, garlic, honey, carrots, I’ve also homebrewed my own beer many times… life is good, and nature is wonderful. Love The Creator and Heavenly Father whose name will be set apart.

I am positive that I saw a report a few months ago saying that the “expiration date “ was not going to be utilized after this year.
I have 2 friends that will lose their ever loving minds. If it expires on Tuesday, they throw it out on Monday. I tried to tell them save that stuff for me and I will feed it to my chickens. But they don’t. I think they’re afraid I will eat it and die. Lol I do not pay any attention to expiration dates as long as the can isn’t bulging or leaking or anything like that. I’ll take my chances, Thanks!!

If you store lentils, chickpeas or wheat, you can make them germinate with a little water, so they give you more vitamins and are alive again. It's possible to store other seeds as alfalfa, fenugreek... and add a little quantity of sprouted seeds to your meal every day.

I was just reminded by Dr. Campbell about the lack of iodine as well.

Add seeds for sprouting. Then you add a couple of tablespoons on top of your beans and rice.

She didn't mention it but Green Bell Peppers have as much Vitamin C as an orange. Very easy to grow. I freeze dry my excess.

Sprouting and micro greens are a profound improvement in raw nutrients.

I stocked up on canned meat and fish, the most nutrient dense foods on the planet. I'll get powdered eggs soon.

So true about the destruction of the microbiome. I've been working to improve mine, and started adding fermented foods several years ago. They are so good and really promote healing your gut. Another great video, thanks!

I started about 15 yrs ago was buying #10 cans of freeze dried stuff. I got a pretty good amount and also pantry stuff like canned items. It mostly go for dries beans, rice and grains. Also a big thing you need is salt. I grew up around depression era people so it’s ingrained to preserve. I look at it this way if I don’t ever need it it’s an insurance policy and if I go early the kids can get it. But don’t put aside what you won’t eat. Grow veggies and save seeds. I’ve had free tomatoes for yrs now from a few grocery store cherry tomatoes. They wild grow into out pine trees. You can do this with lots of plants to supplement diet. I love this nurse! Greetings from old lady in south jersey! ❤️❤️❤️👍🏻💪🏻🖖🏻🙏🏻🙋🏼‍♀️✝️

Make sure you get shelves that can handle the weight of all your food. It's incredible how heavy storage items can be if you have a lot of shelves of food.
Also secure them together so that there is no chance of falling.

I absolutely love red raspberry leaf tea. It smells fantastic and is so good to add to other teas with less tasty notes and helps with that. So good!
