The term ‘fossil fuel’ is a bit of a misnomer. It refers to fuels that come from ancient life forms that lived long ago (on the order of millions of years) and have remained in the ground for eons, which we’re now burning. The primary fossil fuels are coal, petroleum and natural gas. All of these were produced from the biomass of plants and animals that lived a very, very, very long time ago.

But even f it replenish. The problem is that we burn too much.

so first you say we hav never found a fossil below 16000 feet, actually the deepest ever found was at about 7500 feet (while drilling for oil), while we actually drill to 40000 feet for oil. and you havent taken plate tectonics into consideration, fossils have been found on the ocean floor (same fossil as 1st point ( it was a plateosaurus a herbivore)) and whale bones hav been found 100s of km inland (not somewhere they belong normally)

Fossils have been found as deep as 7 kilometers, or 4.3 miles. Thats over 22 thousand feet.
Also oil can be found as shallow as a few hundred feet down.
Only the very deepest oil wells are 30, 000 feet deep.

Theres so many inaccuracies in this video. A large portion of the fuels we utilize contian no oxygen at all. As the name would suggest a hydrocarbon is made from hydrogen and carbon. Just because theres not fossils at those depths doesnt equate to them not being made from once living material. As for them not being limited, the definitely are. There is no fossil fuel fairy restocking those reserves. Regardless the true issue is not running out but as many others have said the greenhouse effects related to the CO2 relased by combustion of these fuels that has wide reaching environmental impacts.

The video is telling us what happened and how things were defined at the time. This rock guy marketed it in such a way that at-the-time it would appear appealing. That rock guy controlled the market both extraction AND delivery/transfer.
