Why on earth didn't you include Bulls On Parade??

When y'all play a band like this who are all about their lyrics, you gotta give them the lyrics to see.

The blonde girl nailed it after People of the Sun, "That sucks. That it's still like happening now." I've been listening to Rage for about 30 years now. They should be irrelevant, but nearly every concern they had in the 90s still rings true today. We Americans have, on the whole, learned so little in the past 3 decades.

Its amazing how at the end of the video the kids begin to make conscientious commentary on whats happening in todays world. They dont understand the lyrics of Rage but it did make them think which was their main goal as artists. As a fan of Rage I enjoyed this video

I understand why kids now always watch movies with subtitles, their ability to actually listen has been totally destroyed.

You really need to give these kids the lyrics...

15:45 Well said, ma'am. I can't believe a teen listening to RATM for the first time understands this better than grown ass adults who love to hate on the band. This goes to the "tHeY aRe ThE mAcHiNe!" crowd.

Fun fact: Killing in the Name was the UK Christmas No. 1 in 2009, after a campaign to stop Simon Cowell's X Factor winners taking the spot for the 5th year running.

As a longlife RATM fan I can't believe the level of nastiness and vitriol on the comments towards a bunch of kids. The message of the band is one of compassion, understanding, pacifism and fighting but only against the oppression and the hate.I'm sure that the members of the band would be really really proud of you fanboys, way to show them...

You can't introduce people to Rage without the lyrics being shown.

I quoted "Anger is a gift" from Rage Against the Machine's song "Freedom" in my paper last semester, and I got a full mark. My professor's feedback is "Rage Against the Machine, my favourite too, nice."

I feel these kids, understandably, lack the historical context to fully 'get' what these songs were actually about.... even when they are hearing what lyrics are being sung.

...and that's ok. I remember when this album came out, and most of the university crowd I hung around with didn't realize it either... and as young adults in the early-mid 90's that was so much worse. Still today you see grown adults comment on some of their songs, "You guys were a lot better when you weren't so political!"... and I scratch my head in wondering what RATM stuff they were listening to.

You need to start giving these kids subtitles so they know wtf is happening

Tom Morello is considered one of the best of all time not just the 90's.
