A lot of people seem confused here, so I'll try and clear this up. At no point did Captain America overpower Spider-Man in this movie. Even in the MCU, Peter is clearly depicted as stronger than Steve. Steve only won because at this point in Spider-Man's story he is very inexperienced, and has never faced someone of Steve's caliber before. The only reason he lost was because of Captain America's superior experience and skill, not because he was stronger.

Those who say that spiderman should have won. Remember that even in the comics spiderman gets dominated...During the fight he admits that cap fighting style is impressive : "Ive seen him fight dozen of times, tried to study his moves...but until this moment (the moment when cap hits him), I never realized there are no moves, its all just one move from start to finish. Smooth, quick, a ballet, deadly and fast. And powerful (...) The man knows more about hand to hand fighting than I'll even learn in a hundred years. Makes me feel like a chump". This part shows is much more technical than spiderman. He hits him three times during the fight. He is a better fighter but also a better strategist : "he s studied me, thats why he wants to fight close. He knows my every move, my every skill and power. But he hasnt had time to study these" (then spiderman hits him and makes him blood with his waldoes).
