Trading is a business. If you are a good trader you should be able to learn and adapt and not always be conservative during a bear/neutral market. 💯 spotted on. Living as an online poker player before going into trading taught me the hard way that you can have the best EV (expected value) on every single hand you played, like trading, external events, variance in poker for ex. can undermine your moral on the long run.
Mental strength, discipline and resilience are your best guardians for your capital, sticking to a strict risk management strategy despite the devil inside that once you “tilt” or have a big drawdown for weeks/months wants to revenge trade, take bigger risks to finally destroy your hard earned capital.

Dude i do not think this is completely accurate. It depends on how you trade. There are price action traders that trade on very small time frames that make money every single day. Overall market conditions are pretty irrelevant for traders that trade on small time frames. They're just concerned with trading level to level and you can make a lot of money doing this. it's incredibly hard and takes a while to really learn the nuances of price action but it can be done.

I disagree. Once to know how to trade a particular sets of EQs you're good to go. Master a set (bull/inverse) and you're set no matter what. I do agree there are some days were it's way to choppy. I just wait for clear direction and make a profit, albeit small but I still go in the right direction
