The part that legit made me cry was when (kinda spoilery?) they flashback to younger Dory overhearing her mother crying because she's worried about what will become of Dory when she gets older due to her mental illness. I think it's because of how real it was, I can imagine a lot of parents who have a mentally disabled child go through those same emotions and uncertainties and that scene goddamn broke my heart.

as someone with acquired brain damage and short term memory issues, i have always identified with dory. It's hard to explain in one comment how it all works and how one can live a life this way when every now and then the last five seconds just *poof*. But i always cry in finding nemo at "don't go away... I don't want to forget..." and she tries to tell Marlin the address... It's heart breaking because i always feel that people will one day get bored or get annoyed with having to deal with me.

Well, i couldn’t stop crying cause it reminded me o my grandma. She now passed away, but she had alzheimers and there was this time when she got lost in the streets and she couldn’t remember were she lived. Luckly, someone of our family found her and got her home.
