Thank God there is no music, just the song of the sea.

Why is it that the deeper we explore the oceans, the more we're reminded of lifeforms straight out of science fiction? Amazing how art imitates life, sometimes unintentionally.

i had this video playing on loop during my final exams. i honestly I don't think I would have made it through without the ability to look up every half an hour and see some funky little creature on my computer.

How fortunate we are to be the very first to live in a time where we can see images like these! For thousands of years humans have wondered what creatures live in the dark depths of the ocean, with only rare glimpses as animals wash ashore or come up in nets, but now for the very first time we have the technology to see these fascinating and otherworldly creatures in their natural habitat, and all from the comfort of our own homes no less! What an exciting time to be alive!

My headset's bluetooth turns off if there isn't a constant stream of audio playing. Because I refuse to buy a new headset, I play this video on the lowest possible volume, so I basically hear nothing and my headset doesn't disconnect. This is the best-in-slot video on the internet. Thanks for saving me 100 bucks on a new headset BBC Earth! You're the real MVP.

I think we like this sound and it might be calming to us because it somewhat reminds us of our mothers womb (minus her heartbeat).

This is amazing and really relaxing! Even though some scenes look like they were shot on an alien planet :O Sometimes we forget how mesmerizing and weird but beautiful our world can be, thank you for sharing!

Such amazing beauty. No comments, no music disturbing. It' s like I' m in a research vessel, exploring submarine life, structures, colours, movements - recalling lectures of marine biology, classifying echinodermata, mollusca, cephalopoda and so on. I'll surely prefer watching closely to falling asleep. Thanks for posting.
