Winter Swim At -20 F | Van Life Alaska

It's February in Alaska and what better way to celebrate Valentines Day than swimming in Chena Hot Springs at -20 F !! This would have never happened if it wasn't for our Winnebago Revel 4x4 Sprinter van, Kushtaka, that we have upgraded and modified over the last two years for our current and future travels. As we Overland Alaska we are testing our our suspension upgrades and breaking it all in.

Spoke with my friend today that lives in Alaska, he asked me if I still follow your adventures, told him hell yes...that you were like extended family. I laughed at Jim's shorts frozen and standing up by themselves. I do miss the beauty of all that snow...

My daughter laughed when she saw you go into WalMart..., that was a big treat for her when I first took her to the states...
