The theory of gravity from Isaac Newton's action at a distance to Einstein's curved spacetime- explained in under two minutes.

In this video, I explain what Einstein's equation E=mc^2 means and why this discovery became one of the most famous equations in the world.

Transcript:
In the 17th century, Isaac Newton came up with his theory of gravity. He said that objects that have mass, such as the Sun and the Earth, are attracted towards each other. The strength of that attraction depends on the distance between them and how heavy they are. The closer objects are or the more mass that they have, the stronger the gravitational attraction. Newton thought that this force acted instantly everywhere. Now this is a fantastic theory but over time it became clear it couldn't quite explain everything that was being observed. Then over 200 years later, Albert Einstein came a long. He said the universe has a speed limit, the speed of light. That means Newton's idea of gravity acting instantly just isn't possible. So this got Einstein thinking. He proposed that spacetime is actually curved and objects with mass bend spacetime. What we experience as gravity is actually the curvature within spacetime. The more mass something has, the more it bends spacetime, the stronger the gravitational force. It was this insight into gravity that lead Einstein to create his General Theory of Relativity, which was to have far reaching consequences.

The Theory now has evolved to specifically theorise that MASS bends the TIME element of space time . And because spacetime is a co dependent feature, the tesult
is an OBSERVED alteration of PHYSICAL SPACE

There is no gravitational attraction. Believe the accelerometers. They say we accelerate upwardly. Test the hypothesis by building and operating humanity's first Small Low-Energy Non-Collider. Look it up.

I don't know if gravity is acting or not .... But u r really acting well...

Reading Newton's theory of gravitation.. I could come to a conclusion why my pen falls when i throw it upwards.. because according to newton.. everything is pulled towards the earth's center so.. the earth pulls the pen causing it to fall downwards..
But how does einstein's gravity define the pen falling down? Einstein said heavy objects create a curvature and other objects revolve around it... how does that account for the falling of my pen in the earth? Can i please have the answer?

Billions and billions of atoms. Most of the mass of an atom is the speed of light motions of the gluons. I think you will find out gravity and strong force of the atom are directly correlated .

Newton's equation did not include big G

Educate yourself, Newton stole that part with an falling apple from his colleague.

Wow what a fish story, it's called the theory of relativity because it's just one man's theory.

Objects fall due density end of story no need crazy explanations and waste of time trying to research "gravity"
