I use a bit of Manuka honey to keep my very dry lips soft. I just don't go out in the back yard when I do though.

If you are a dog owner, don't use cocoa butter. Even stroking them after touching cocoa butter can cause fatalities in dogs... and as dogs love to try licking the lip area when showing affection, best not to use cocoa butter at all. Cracked lips, especially in the corners can also be a sign of anaemia, so if nothing works, then best to get the ferritin levels checked. I know this from personal experience.

Id go with coconut oil over petroleum oil!!!

This worsens with licking frequently because our spit is acidic for proper digestion. Our lips also have a very thin layer of skin. There is no stratum corneum, and licking will only damage the lack of skin we have.

Tip: dont lick ur lips all the time there are tiny spikes on ur tongue u cant see and it just makes ur lips bleed dont dont do it and also makes lips peel and all just keep em moist 😊
