Market socialism vs Titoism

In this video I discuss whether or not Titoism is Market Socialism. This was made as I have seen a lot of questions and criticisms around this that I thought might be made more constructively with the information from this video. I tried to refer to market socialism not as a negative idea, as I wanted to try to be more focused on actual differences then just banter.

I remember looking for a video like this a while ago when I was trying to understand Titoism and I was amazed how little there was on youtube. Nice to see that video exists now. There's a huge need for more marxist channels that aren't just edgy tankie teens, so good work dude. I've warmed up to the idea of planned economy in some areas, especially with the potential for automation and AI to make it more feasible, but I think the worker cooperative model of democratic worker owned enterprises is a significant piece of the puzzle of how to build a socialist economy in the late capitalist 21st century. We should aim to make those sectors of the economy that are necessary for a dignified life (housing, food, healthcare, energy) state run and seek to replace the current private sector with a worker owned sector, imo. I hate when people pit central planning and state enterprises against the idea of worker co-ops. Both have potential for improving living standards and labor rights but neither is a panacea for solving capitalism. There is always the need for revolution as long as the class antagonism remains and that is the unspoken assumption that goes with all of these conversations.

One idea I've recently been thinking about is combining Titoist-style self-management with a cybernetic communist network like Cybersyn or OGAS.

Great suggestions to improvement of the system. Increased marketisation, managerial class and its "unsocialistic practices and ideological position" were in my opinion instrumental in dissolving the socialist spirit of Yugoslavia.
