In this video I cover the economics of Yugoslavia and the economic ideas of Titoism. I've sprinkled my opinions on some of the economic polices of Yugoslavia towards the end, but other wise this mostly covers the broad Titoist ideas on the workplace. You may notice that this was uploaded later than episodes 3 and 4, and that's because I had issues with audio that should be fixed in this video.

Here are my sources used in this video:

So glad to see content on Yugoslav Socialism! The Yugoslavian example of socialism has been criminally ignored despite its obvious advantages. I would push back about abolishing management committees. I think as long as the ties between the committees and the workers in the enterprises are strong, even having a day-to-day directing manager wouldn't be an issue as long as they have to answer to the workers' council. I also think that a lot of the market problems they encountered might have been mitigated if the powers of the producers' councils were increased. But there is so much to learn from the Yugoslav system of government and management, and its interesting how even many bourgeois management scientists are finding that self-management type organization encourages higher quality work. I'm glad I found your channel, keep it up!
