Jock itch is an itching in between the thighs in the groin areas. It could be because of various reasons. One, it could be fungal and if it is fungal it could be because of fungal infection or dermatophyte infection. Sometimes itching can be cause d by bacterial infection. So identifying the cause of the infection is very important. If it is fungal infection, then it is important to keep the area dry and avoiding moisture in that area. Change the undergarments frequently and dispose the undergarments every 3 months atleast. Keep a separate towel, soap for yourself and do not get your clothes washed with the other members of the house. If anybody else is also suffering then they also have to get the treatment done because it can spread from one person to the other and also if the clothes are washed together and also continuing and taking the treatment full course of antifungals is very important. Even if you are alright, finish the course.

I had a severe case a number of years ago, I tried every cream, oitment and home rememdy I could find and it persisted for many months. And then I found a post on a forum of an idea (it is painful but it worked in 24 hours), the person said to use cayenne hot peopper powder (can get in spice aisle at any food store), I came up with an idea of mixing the cayenne powder in pure aloe vera gel so it would stay on the affected area. It buned, but within 24 hours no more jock itch and never came back again!

Home remedy: u can rub infected area in apple cinder veniger or use alcohol its very helpful for me to get rid of that initiative thing
