Very fair to say that most actual iron players (ones that arent trying to get an iron account/bots) either have issues with their internet or hardware, or league is one of their first experiences with gaming.

Back before the Bronze / Iron split, I boosted a friend up from Bronze 5 to Silver 5 and he is absolutely right. It's entirely made up of either people with hardware issues, internet issues or people with deficiencies. The ironic thing though is they were from my experience not really toxic at al until B1/S5 and I like to think they're just having fun which is pretty wholesome.

Honestly, D1/low masters is the hardest to break out of. Its not even about the inters or feeders, its just everyone there has an insane ego an they all clash with each other (this is a cry for help)

That viewer had it wrong he meant breaking into iron, not out of, is the hardest thing to do in this game. You're gonna be banned 100 times before losing enough games to reach it.

I actually have an iron account for playing with my friends. Everytime we play i always give myself a handicap or a challenge like swapping F and D spells or swapping Q W E R to R E W Q so the first skill is R instead of q. It's really fun to see yourself and teammates play like crap from time to time lol

It's actually really hard to get into Iron in the first place. If you're intentionally trying to get into Iron, there's apparently a high chance of getting banned if you're blatantly losing games, so you have to emulate the playstyle of Kadeem. That might seem easy to some people but then there's the chance of randomly winning games even if you're trolling or playing worse than legendary player dongers dojo.

As someone who has an Iron 4 account that I often play on for fun and to try shit like AD Soraka Mid, there are an exorbitant amount of feeders and bots playing, its almost in every lobby where the support will be playing Taric or Soraka and following the ADC around the entire game, literally AI playing the game and not getting banned. Then you have people who play Nunu and run 20 kills down mid all game. However, no, it is braindead easy to climb in that ELO. There are a lot of smurfs but it's still mostly people who actually belong there, and they usually play like they're at the bottom of the ladder.

I tried to get to iron once, got 2/8 in placements and that got me bronze 2, I managed to get demoted to bronze 3 and even though I tried my hardest to balance the line of not contributing and not getting banned I couldn't get lower than 27% winrate and that was enough to keep me from demoting further. I aborted the experiment when I got a warning from the system.

When I played League for the first time, I placed Iron I. Then I climbed out really fast and climbed to Gold IV over the course of the season. I think there are a lot of Iron I players that just started playing but will be out soon. But if you’re stuck in iron then I have no idea what to tell you.

I don't know what the guy smoked to think that getting out of iron is hard, but I also think that any iron player (that isn't intentionally trying to derank) is a much happier person than tyler1

Silver is the wildest tier to be in because you get winstreaking iron and bronze players but also plat players hardstuck in gold. It’s truly the Wild West of league

Jesus Christ, I just read one of the top comments saying "if you're below 30 years old and in iron, you should get tested for something". I'm 19, recently hit lvl 30 and got placed in Iron 1. I'd say it's a fair rating, as I have no idea what my enemies' abilities are (I've only played about 5 different champs) and play max. 5-10 games a week. These guys want to feel smart for playing a video game for thousands of hours, but League rank and intelligence are not as correlated as they want them to be.

Most Iron players just play occasionally for fun. If there are legitimately any hardstuck Iron players with over 100 games in a season I would be dumbfounded.

The way I think about it is Iron 4 is the kind of level that my mom would play at if she started playing. 0 gaming hours over her entire life, she's gonna have no idea what's going on for so long while playing this game and have no gauge on how to improve. Doesn't mean she ain't a smart woman though
