“God if you exist, Christianity is true, would you show me that it’s true in a way that I would understand it”

We should share that prayer with anybody that struggles with believing in our Lord, than you Matt for sharing such simple prayer yet powerful.

Wow! The analogy of the neon lights compared to the sun, is outstanding!!!! At night the neon lights look flashy, attractive( the world without God and Jesus) but when the sun rises in all its Glgory, the neon lights pale in comparison!! Thank you for this, Matthew. Very much needed today, Good Friday. God bless you and your family 🙏 Praying that Jesus, in this time of darkness, opens up everyone's eyes to the joy of eternal life.

Thanks Matt, greetings to you and all.
I'm reading the entire Summa, I'm presently on Q 97. I view the format as an old school version of a twitter argument lol.

Reading it has helped me on my catholic journey, 🇻🇦👋🇺🇸

Really enjoyed this. Thank you. One issue: it's too quiet. I have the volume on max and it's still hard to hear. God bless you.

Thank you Matt! That was a wonderful reflection on this Good Friday of 2020. May the crucified and risen Lord reveal Himself to our hearts and minds!

Thank you for your work and testimony. The neon vs sun is also a great analogy!

You talking about how you used to be atheist was interesting to listen to because I've tried to believe its a lot easier to when everyone around you does but I just don't. No matter how much I've read or listened to podcasts about it. When I was younger I went to this big youth gathering thing a few times and I'd see everyone happy and fully believing and feel upset that I couldn't

Matt did the testing for corona come out negative? I thank God for you and your witness to the Truth using Sacred Tradition, Scripture and Church Fathers! How Triune! Imagine that! A blessed Tridium and Easter to you and your family!

I disagree with the notion that we should be imitating Aquinas's priority-hierarchy (i.e. Bible > Tradition > Philosophy) because I think as normal Catholics, our goal should be to understand the true, Catholic interpretation of the Bible and so with that, I believe normal Catholics must, at least initially, work in reverse (i.e. Philosophy > Tradition > Bible). This means making study of Philosophy to enable one's mind to correctly understand the Church Fathers (i.e. Tradition) and then making study of the Fathers in order to ensure the Bible is correctly interpreted. Without this, I believe Catholics would only waste their time trying to read Scripture as they would be reading something they're failing to correctly understand.

Isn't the first one basically penal subtitution? Isn't that condemned by the Catholic church? I'm so confused about this.

Matt, is there a beginner's to Thomas Aquinas, you know something that isn't overwhelmingly big and/or complex. An abridged version for example or something that focuses solely on Thomas's arguments for God's existence?
