Tapping or Emotional Freedom Technique helps to restore balance in your body and reduce feelings of anxiety, stress, pain and trauma, even post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Tapping on these 9 meridian points helps to send healing signals to your brain. These acupressure points are the pathways for the "Life force", "Qi" or "Prana" to flow throughout the body and tapping on these points can reduce the stress you may be feeling due to your issue/problem. Tapping helps to release the energy blockages in the body.
Emotional freedom technique (EFT) is an alternative treatment for physical pain and emotional distress. It’s also referred to as tapping or psychological acupressure.

5 stages/steps of Tapping:
1. Identify/Recognise the problem/issue at hand
2. Test the intensity of the issue on a scale of 0-10, 10 being the worst.
3. The set-up: Set-up a phrase/sentence - Even though I have this [fear or problem], I choose to love and accept myself.
4. Follow the EFT Tapping Sequence stating the above phrase.
There are 12 major meridians that mirror each side of the body and correspond to an internal organ. However, EFT mainly focuses on these nine:
karate chop (KC): small intestine meridian
eyebrow (EB): bladder meridian
side of the eye (SE): gallbladder meridian
under the eye (UE): stomach meridian
under the nose (UN): governing vessel
chin (Ch): central vessel
beginning of the collarbone (CB): kidney meridian
under the arm (UA): spleen meridian
top of head (TH): governing vessel
5. Test the final intensity of the issue on a scale of 0-10, 10 being the worst. Compare your results with your initial intensity level. If you haven’t reached 0, feel free to repeat this process until you do or until you feel better.
