Accessible Playgrounds

Pickering is bringing inclusive, universally-designed playground updates to 9 of its parks as well as fully reconstructing 4 playgrounds to be fully compliant with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA).

Accessible playgrounds provide the children of our community with opportunities to socialize, play, and exercise, regardless of ability.
