One of the very few MAGA people I still interact with and talk politics with said pretty much the same thing - that if Trump is found guilty of a crime, he should be punished - but if not, that person would vote for Trump in 2024 because, his words, 'there is no way I can vote for a Communist.'
My response, directly to his face - 'That thinking wants me to beat the s#!t out of you. You can't be persuaded, so you need to be put down like a rabid dog.'
As you can probably tell from this recitation of that conversation, I have one less MAGA person speaking with me.
