This is a video I have been wanting to make since season 2 but I wanted to have more material to work on.
Well this season gave me all the material I wanted.

It’s basically two videos in one as the first part focuses on the big three childhood, Jack & Rebecca story, the fire & how it impacted their lives.

The second part focuses on Kevin building Jack’s dream house, the legacy Jack’s left on his wife & kids and Rebecca’s different relationships with Kevin, Kate & Randall. It’s beautiful to see how much her relationship with Kevin & Kate grew this season.

Regarding Kevin & Randall, they wanted to hurt each other. They did. Now I do believe they love each other and hopefully their relationship can grow from this.

When you really think about it Jack and Rebecca were by no means perfect, but they built something together that was truly beautiful. They managed to raise three flawed, yet great people and in doing so they built a family that loved like no other. I mean not only was their own love story great, but it lead to an incredible love that lasted generations. Truly remarkable.

this is so perfect because all they ever wanted was to build a home. Rebecca wanted to build a home filled with kindness and openness, Jack wanted to build a home that feels safe especially opposite to the home he grew up in, Randall always wanted to build a home like his parents built for him with a loving family, Kate wanted to build a home with a man that resembled her superhero dad and Kevin literally built a home for all of them in respect and memory of his parents' dream.

Mandy Moore is the most amazing actress! She plays herself during 3 or 4 different time-frames wonderfully! She’s the mom of 3 forty year olds at just 35 years old herself, and now even with having a real baby herself. She’s amazing!

“To build a home” this title just defines the entire show “THIS IS US.” From witnessing the love between Jack and Rebeca, raising the kids and the most unfortunate moment when Jack passed away to see the kids making their own families-it has come a long way. Such an outstanding series with multitalented artists ❤️💯

No doubt, it was the the most wonderful and heart warming show portraying the story of the best family that ever existed! And it really aches my heart to say goodbye to this show cause yes, I've already fallen in love w these characters and this show always felt like home. But I really hope I'm brave enough to step back and see that the end is not sad, it's just the start of something incredibly wonderful! These characters will be loved and cherished to death by us.😌❤️

Being accepted through ups, downs, belonging, fights, hardship, losses, gains...every experience. Things don't always work out perfectly but we can hope..
