Did you fill the dish soap up to the formula line? Does it nit foam up on the rug? Did you have to do a water rinse after with just water in the bottle

I own a similar Bissell carpet machine and it does a great job for its simple design and low cost. There are better carpet cleaner products available to deep clean and extract dirt, these usually encapsulate dirt which have a dual action to vacuum up additional dirt once the carpet is dry. Check with a janitorial supply, a large bottle is very economical to use.

How do you take apart the dirty water reservoir to clean it. Ive had mine for a year now and even though i rinse it out after I dump the dirty water the reservoir is disgusting 😣

You're not supposed to use dish soap!!!! It will clog the machine. Read the directions before using .
