WTEN Commercial Breaks (May 28, 1984)

Taken from Airport '79, the ABC Monday Night Movie, airing on the network's Albany, NY affiliate WTEN (channel 10). After the TV season ended, ABC would burn off shows in reruns, and air random movies on Monday because football wouldn't start up yet.

WTEN had just introduced a new logo and on-air identity that month, and some promos for the station appear here touting the new look. WTEN was a solid second to WRGB, as WNYT hadn't yet climbed up to the top (they would hire Ed Dague two months later).

That logo lasted up to 14 months until they switched to the now current “10” logo in ‘85.

1:23 Nacho Cheese Doritos commercial from 1984. I like watching the long version of this early 80's Nacho Cheese Doritos commercial.

That edwards ad is so sexy miss that store in Latham NY big yellow exterior dark moody interior. No bags only giant cardboard boxes to take your goods away. Man life was so different then .
