Haven't used autocad since I was in my engineering tech class long ago, but from what I remember you type L enter, select the point ex: 0, 0 enter, then @length<angle enter, hope that helped.

Hi, to change the background colors type "Options", in the dialog box click the "Display" tab, then button "Colors". There you specify the background colors used in model space, layouts, etc. Background colors on the Model tab change to indicate whether you are working in a 2D design context, 3D modeling (parallel projection), or 3D modeling (perspective projection).
