Google glass: just a novelty item, that will anger the people around you because they don't want to be filmed.

Not much of a problem, you just put them on the top of your head.

It will be the universal bathroom/change room sign for "I am not filming you"

More subscribers = More money = Better budget = better videos.

holy cow! I just noticed that, yay! I still think it was better before, but with adblock and ratings preview, it's pretty good.

The only problem I have with the people getting angry about being filmed is that every phone these days has recording capability, and for all anyone knows, they could already be filmed without knowledge...

I think we've found the tripod. This guy has it. Does this channel only have one to share between them all?

They kind of have been for a while. Everything you have ever Google searched is kept in a database.

That is one of the 2 big arguments I use against any privacy scare. The other being your "privacy" is mind numbingly boring and no one cares in the first place.

Look at the layout before google owned youtube. Look at the layout now. Which is better? Which one is horrible?

Problems with Google glass in America so far that I have heard from the lucky few that have them is that people think you are always video taping you. The biggest problems would be having to take them off say when you go to the bathroom or to the movies since they do not fold up and do not fit in your pocket

My comment wasn't about legality or forcing people to be filmed. My comment was about how the whole privacy argument is totally bunk... In Australia there are more mobile phones on the market than there are people in the country, with almost every phone now coming equipped with a camera (or 2) How do you know the guy walking around holding a phone isn't already recording?

Also, add to this CCTV cameras, security systems, and car mounted video recording devices...

Lets face it people all ready can video you if they wanted from their phone, whilst it looks like they are just checking a message

TBH.... Everyone is just getting a tad bit paranoid. Anyone can record you at anytime, any day with any device that has a camera. You can get pens that have cameras that look like a button but isn't. So what's the difference between that and Google glass. What's the difference between a Dictaphone and Google glass. What's the difference between a head cam and Google glass. Remember these can and have been bought already. Its not for a daily phone driver. Its more aimed at drivers and sporty peop

I don't understand this privacy issue when it comes to filming with Google Glass... It's nothing new, people can already film in public very easily with their phones, and if they want, they can hide their phone very sneakily, there are many incredibly easy ways to film in public without others knowing it, I don't see how this is a new issue that Google should be facing.
I think it's just bad arguments invented by people against Google Glass. A better argument would be how easy to steal it is.

Better budget? Who says they'll spend the extra money in such a productive manner?

i doubt that it's going to take off until somebody integrates a viable screen into contact lenses, for most people vanity trumps practicality. It goes against biology to clutter up you main emotion-communication feature (the face). Glasses never became a fashion item unless needed for vision My girlfriend sometimes prefers poor vision over wearing glasses, this behavior is engrained so deep
it's only going to change for the next generations which grows up with the technology (>10 years)

but they put it back! That's how i replied to your comment!

Not for long! Give it 8 years. Normal glasses will be smart like Google Glass and cell phones will be loser.
