Great new finally. I hope they implement this very quickly before the upcoming federal election as there is a risk of political interference from bad actors.
Anyone who argues against renewables not working when the sun isn’t shining and the wind isn’t blowing will really have no argument left once there are hundreds of thousands of cars with V2G plugging in every night.

When Sam was on the panel being introduced the crowd cheered. He’s got a lot of support.

This is definitely something to celebrate, this is one of the biggest steps for a fully renewable economy and grid resilience. I think that a lot of people don't realize how momentous V2G is going to be!!!! Let's hope they basically take the home battery standards, how those connect to the house and grid, as the BEV battery is taking on the same function.

Yes, I agree. Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) is another great feature for EVs.
Looking 2–3 years ahead—with AI, full self-driving, wireless charging, solar roofs, self-diagnostics, and improvements in battery density and cost—ICE vehicles are really starting to feel like horse-drawn trams.
