So wouldn't it be great to never have to pay the power companies ever again? Except that then they'd have no revenue to maintain the power grid. Then they would start charging people for not using the grid or the government would get involved and start assessing fees to bail out the power companies. There's a power/cash/infrastructure loop that can't be broken, so the public always ends up paying someone in the long run as far as I can see.

I love the idea but confused how the Leaf can start the day fully charged if it's powering the house from 6pm to 6am

It is definitely an important step towards making better use of electric cars, but still too early to get too excited about it. Good Job SA Government 👍👍 Hope backward looking LNP class will bring up with some nonsensical "business-friendly" BS soon to help their friends in crime.

Company should be able to afford a few/several PowerWalls so not have to rely solely on his Leaf.

Its sad that the only actually working V2G is chademo in 2022!? Also it apparently took only 3 years to get approval for this!
