I've been binging all of your videos. Glad I came upon this one. Found a company that uses NT windows exclusively in DFW area and glad it got high praise from you. I think I know who I will be going with.

Thanks Jeff. Very good info in this video. Sort of by odd luck, I have chosen the NT Window without much research. I think I really trusted the company that will be doing the installation. They suggested this brand. The installation company is out of Arlington, Texas. I am waiting on the order currently, and should be delivered in two or three weeks. Can't wait for the installation to take place. And thanks for reaffirming my choice of NT Windows.

Recently had Anderson quote me on some windows. The price is insane, but the windows are really nice.

I was seeing so many vinyl windows warping due to high heats in Texas.

Hey Jeff! Thanks for the very informative video. I actually live in the southwest Houston area. I am in the process of have a brand new construction built. One of the builders has suggested vinyl and the others Anderson 100. My only worry about vinyl is warping and bending. I saw you mentioned in another comment that if a proper vinyl window manufacturer is picked then we wouldn’t have to worry about those issues. I’m assuming NT is one of those. What are some others?

Hi Jeff, I’ve decided to replace my old aluminum single pain windows with NT Presidential vinyl windows black interior w/black exterior but am worried that the black exterior will fade over time. The backside of my home gets a lot of sun. How well does the NT black vinyl windows hold to fading? By the way, I binge watch your videos and love them. You are so well informed. Thank you!

When you said Cocoa, it reminded me of the song Coco Don't on Don Johnson's (Miami Vice) first solo album. It is a pretty decent album btw released in 1986...I miss the 80's.

okay now that was informative i did not know what Anderson window fidbrex was made from sawdust. Which surprise me I live up in Pa and it gets cold in the winter . Anytime I call the Anderson flyer for then to come and do a job the closet is in Johnstown Home Depot so I went with a local company Window World and they did a big window for me and did a great job I would recommend them . I just install two Pella windows from Lowes and they was very good windows as well .

Love these videos, very informative. I have a few Renewal by Anderson windows and they look nothing like the one you are showing. Maybe it is a cosmetic thing but they finish looks fantastic. I am in the process of deciding on additional Anderson windows and wondering if I should do it myself or go with Renewal again. Renewal are expensive and I have installed a lot of windows in the past, so if I wanted to do it myself which Anderson window would you pick to match the finish of the other Renewal windows?

Is this an old renewal by Anderson window or is it just a fibrex coated Anderson?
The Anderson window I saw the screen easily fit through, and it also tilts 9uy with the one latch

Actually the Anderson salesman did tell us that all manufacturers get the glass from the same place.

Jeff- we’ve decided to go with NT Presidential windows in two tone black on black. We live in central Texas, when can I expect to see these vinyl windows begin to fade? The backside of our home gets lot of sun.

Would you suggest replacing our single pane aluminum windows with NT black aluminum windows? Are these less expensive than the Presidential series?

Can you do a warranty comparison of NT vinyl and Fibrex?

From my understanding vinyl has many exclusions that are geography/maintenance related.

This was SO helpful! What line is that NT window? Exec or Presidential?

question. By saying "glass from Cardinal" you mean just glass or whole IGU? who makes IGU, cardinal or the glass companies themselves?

Jeff, how do both of these windows perform in Texas in the black color? Is one better than the other in extreme heat and direct sunlight, in terms of things like thermal expansion and color fading?

To clarify, you don't like actually preforming the installation of fibrex in cooler temperatures? What are your thoughts of using fibrex windows vs vinyl windows in a colder climate like the northeast USA with extreme temperature changes throughout the year...or the week 😂.

What is the difference between at Pella 250 series and an NT 700 executive.
