So having spent a little time with this Fierce Intense now, I will say that it does smell exactly like the original but with improved sillage and longevity.
Still, it's hard to justify the premium pricing on this stuff. Doubt I'll end up replacing my bottle when it runs out. Good Review..

I’m glad to say I own the version of Fierce that’s out right now (white letter) and own Fierce Intense. Sometimes A&F will offer 25% off so you can pick up Intense for $88. I preserve Intense for special occasions and wear the normal one for casual occasions.

Great detail brother. The story kind of reminds me of the Classic Coke fiasco. Reformulate to re-condition, then bring back the original in new packaging to gouge the jaded consumer. Oh the world we live in!

I don’t know what Intense smells like but I know I have a large bottle of last years version and when I spray it on Abercrombie clothing (specifically A&F) I get the unique Fierce scent which I remember was sprayed in the stores and probably smells like the original Fierce.

Interestingly enough, the original formulation never had actual oakmoss, it contained a huge amount of a synthetic oakmoss called Evernyl. I know this cause I know quite a bit of the formula of the original 2002 batches. Great to see your videos again, bro! Hope you're doing well. Fierce will never be the same again. Yes the reformulations were quite numerous. Fierce will always be remembered as being the world's most legendary and the hottest male fragrance. The heart and soul of the once sexy and preppy Abercrombie & Fitch.

Nice review Josh! Mont Blanc Legend supposedly smells similar to Fierce, and is easily my most complimented fragrance. It's a much cheaper alternative and with 6-8 sprays performance and sillage are pretty good.

Makes my husband mad how poorly A&F handled the release of Fierce Intense. They priced it at a point that was more expensive than Creeds per ml. Due to this, very few people bought it and within a few months were forced to discontinue it. 😠

They changed the bottle design and have a new fierce campaign. Also, It’s so sad to see A&F change overall. It stood out from the rest of the companies. Now it’s like any other brand out there. It’s just not exciting like it once was.

I am actually conducting my final fierce experiment this weekend, I bought ISO E SUPER at a 40% concentration and I'm going to try and layer it together with the new fierce to see how it smells. Wish me luck.

Just bought this to my collection. It's on sale on black Friday. Hopefully the next colognes to get are Louis Vuitton cologne which I'll be getting it for Christmas for myself and hopefully Hugo Boss Infinite.

I just bought one of the older formulations on eBay at 3.4 oz. If you guys need the older formulation of this fragrance you're going to have to take a chance on eBay. There are a few vintage ones for sale *NOW* if you hurry, and one of the sellers has a 100% feedback and thousands of items sold. So I'm looking forward to getting my hands on this projection monster and hitting the bars again. The cool thing about this is that the current formulation is so weak that you're going to be the only guy out there really wearing this since it doesn't technically exist anymore. This is a great chance to introduce the fragrance to some sexy early 20 something's and get them thinking of and remembering you because of your badass cologne.

I'm not shitting you. I used to buy the vintage formulation of this back in the mid 2000s and it was like catnip for chicks. To this day nothing has ever gotten me more compliments.

I'm curious, to the video maker, do you agree with my assessment of this fragrance?
